Project Monitoring & Performance Management

Project monitoring and performance management features enable ministries of health and other governing institutions to make data-driven decisions, provide feedback on performance, effectively manage incentives, and ensure quality control. These features are targeted for those at the district, provincial, and/or national level to be able to manage specific interventions and health workers’ performance.

Facilitated reporting has implications beyond decreased manual reportingp burdens. The digitization of data opens doors for analytics and real-time feedback at all management levels. Beyond this, reports on provider performance and supply availability are presented in easy to understand charts - enabling data-driven supervision, performance feedback, and quality control.

Automated Reporting

Paper-based reporting and manual calculation of health indicators remains a burden for health workers all over the world, especially in settings where resources are limited and patient load is high. One of the benefits of switching to a digitized record-keeping system is the ability to automate and standardize reporting at all levels in the health system. Data entered in OpenSRP is automatically aggregated and can be displayed back to the health worker in a separate reporting module.
